Senior Account Executive
The Senior Account Executive at Directlink Technologies is an outside sales position. The Sr. AE will be responsible and accountable for driving new sales and revenue growth. The primary function of this position is to build sales through new client acquisition.
Develop and execute a formal sales process to develop new leads, qualify opportunities, track the sales cycle, understand the customer decision-making process, and close the sale.
Develop and maintain an up-to-date and accurate sales funnel sufficient to consistently achieve sales quotas.
Continuously prospect and qualify new colocation opportunities.
Develop and maintain a detailed and strategic business plan to achieve results.
Develop and prepare sales proposals, presentations and detailed RFP responses.
Design data center solutions to meet customer’s needs.
Participate in trade shows and networking events.
7 + years of experience selling colocation and data center services with a proven track record of quota attainment.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent education, training, and industry experience.
Professional, strategic and consultative approach to business development.
Highly organized self-starter with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to call on C-Level executives.
Possess a technical understanding of: Data Center infrastructure (Power, Cooling, Security), Telecommunications, and Hybrid IT/Cloud Connectivity Solutions
