Opening with a client in downtown Pittsburgh for a Financial Business Analyst.
Looking for someone with 5 to 7 years of business analyst experience including experience working on financial data projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with trading systems, credit systems, regulatory and reporting systems.
The primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:
Elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts
Define and document requirements
Analyze and prioritize requirements
Write functional specifications
Model the requirements/specifications
Perform business process design in conjunction with operations teams
Lead requirements validation and traceability analysis
Manage scope and requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Lead development of common standards and tools;
Assists in operational rollout and support.
Qualifications of the Business Analyst
5 to 7 years business analyst experience within financial services
Experience with data projects
General ledger, trading systems, credit systems, regulatory reporting systems a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
Ability to take strategic direction from executive management
