Our Client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, has an immediate need for a Web Developer. The position is located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 12 month contract assignment with possibility of an extension. Ideal candidates must have 5+ years of experience with Classic ASP and XML.
This position is accountable for managing and supporting the development, deployment and implementation of fixes, new features and enhancements to the Client's public facing website.
The individual will be responsible to manage multiple priorities, with the ability to prioritize tasks across different work efforts.
Work as part of a team to develop, implement, evaluate, and/or provide support that meet the needs of the customer and add the most value to the company. This is to be accomplished by utilizing technically sound methods of investigation, analysis, design, planning, and scheduling.
Experience with change management
Operate within Client's Company and IT standards and conventions.
Web Back End
Windows Administration – Scheduled Tasks, Permissions/Sharing
IIS Administration – Experience with IIS Server Setup and SQL Server setup
Server-side Languages – ASP, XML/XPATH, API, (ASP.Net potential future use)
Content/Web Knowledge - UI/Design, Metrics/Analytics, SEO
Computer Science degree is preferred.
Prior applicable experience:
Must have prior experience developing a website.
