Innovative is hiring Account Managers to nurture relationships with our existing client base and to up-sell and cross-sell into those accounts. You are someone who takes a sincere interest in your clients’ happiness and growth and serve as an advocate who takes interest in their needs and sells them solutions that provide them value and contributes to their success.
Prior related experience, an analytic mindset, and understanding of technical / data / IT / financial or risk and compliance solutions will help you be successful. Your compensation includes base salary plus incentives for meeting sales, retention, and other business targets.
What you will be doing…
Establish, manage, and grow relationships, revenues, and market share with our clients in North America and other markets as assigned nearby or around the globe
Cultivate client relationships and maximize their satisfaction by maintaining ongoing communication through various mediums including regular visits and calls
Inform executive management and seek their advice and assistance as issues arise
Maintain awareness and communicate changing industry and client needs to aid development of product, pricing, and marketing strategies
Hold and facilitate account reviews with any and all teams / persons that touched the account (past and current)
Collaborate with the sales team when new business opportunities arise and work together to strategize the best approach for growing the account and maintaining satisfaction
Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records through regular and effective use of Salesforce.com and other internal tools
Facilitate contract negotiations; utilize any and all internal resources to assist contract closure
Track client account status, renewals, rollovers, and other metrics as requested results and generate reports to keep senior staff apprised
Create and deliver webinars and product presentations to ensure new and on-going education of clients and leads
Requirements we need you to have…
One to three years’ experience in a similar role
Prior experience in sales preferably with experience or education in IT / data / software solutions
Winning track record of meeting or exceeding your goals
Proven success in prospecting, negotiating, and closing sales
Knowledge and effective use of Saleforce.com or similar tools
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with direct teammates and other internal teams
Curiosity to continually learn, a solutions-oriented mindset, and belief in yourself that you will make it happen!
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10-25%
It’s a plus if you have…
Experience or coursework in IT / data / software solutions / risk or compliance / AML / KYC / financial services
Fluency with other languages
