Enscoe Long Insurance Group, LLC (ELIG) is a client-driven boutique agency providing customized insurance solutions in employee benefits and property casualty. We deliver cost-effective, high-quality products and services to create and protect long-term sustainability for each client we serve. We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and goal-oriented Benefits Account Executive to join our client-focused team.
Deliver outstanding and time-sensitive customer service by serving as a trusted business partner, subject matter expert, liaison between clients and carriers, and creative problem solver.
Provide strategic planning, consulting advice, RFP’s, analysis and comparison of vendor responses and recommendations both in written and presentation form.
Develop insurance quotes and proposals for renewals and new business.
Ensure the proper complement of policies and coverage to fill gaps and reduce risk. Recommend coverage options that suit the individual needs of each client.
Establish and maintain dependable relationships with carriers, vendors, producers and other business partners.
Monitor delinquent clients, track payments and reinstatements, and resolve issues.
Resolve claims issues and provide employee/client claims assistance with all providers of care.
Process customer policy change requests and policy endorsements as needed.
Attend client, community, educational and professional networking events as a representative of our company.
Maintain current knowledge of industry legislation and compliance issues including, but not limited to, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA and others.
Identify cross-marketing opportunities and work with ELIG colleagues to explore opportunities for clients across product lines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of markets, policies and products related to health care benefits.
Able to build long term relationships with clients, vendors, business partners and carriers. Demonstrate superior client service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated presentation abilities.
Possess an upbeat and positive team-centered attitude plus a genuine willingness to learn.
Able to multi-task, manage changing priorities and creatively problem solve to ensure outstanding customer service.
Must be licensed and able to operate a personal vehicle and travel locally to clients, events, trainings and meetings.
Able to work in an office setting and operate standard office equipment including Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Epic or Tam Agency Management System preferred, but will train if necessary.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors’ degree in business or related area preferred. Industry experience may be substituted. Willing to train.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in Life and Health customer service preferred.
Life & Health Insurance License (PA) required.
