Currently have a contract opening in Pittsburgh, PA for an IT Help Desk Support Analyst.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for providing top notch customer service and support to users.
Essential Duties of the Help Desk Support Analyst
Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone and via email
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
Maintain documentation of issues; escalate as necessary/instructed
Work through assigned tickets on a daily basis so that tickets are resolved in a timely manner
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Requirements of the Help Desk Support Analyst
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or help desk role
Technical ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and software
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting (able to handle a large volume of support calls)
Strong customer service skills Solid oral and written communications skills
Any IT Certifications would be a plus
