JOB TITLE: Corporate Recruiter DEPARTMENT: Human Resources REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: VP of HR
This person is responsible for sourcing and developing a strong, solid pipeline of qualified candidates. They would work with other team members to strategize and develop a plan of action in order to hit recruiting goals. We are looking for a person who wants to grow and drive success for themselves and within the department. We look at this position as a culture carrier and a representative of the company due to being the first contact with a potential employee.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Source, engage and present top talent either on a role-specific basis or as part of a wider strategic project/ pipelining exercise • Identify potential candidates through the use of Boolean searches, professional and social networking, candidate referrals, networking, web sourcing and the internal ATS • Proactively research and generate new/creative sourcing ideas • Keep abreast of trends, developments and industry activity; know the competitive landscape and provide relevant information feeds to the business • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow up and communication with candidates • Help with department stats and updates via internal and external systems • Must show a positive attitude with a willingness to help out the team – and follow Company Core Values.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business Marketing or related field preferred • 1 or more years of recruiting or sourcing experience for a search firm and/or in-house Talent Acquisition team • Experience with job boards including Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter • College and/or university campus recruitment experience (attending local job fairs, networking events, etc.) • Maintaining metrics • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage candidate by phone and email • Strong business acumen to understand business needs and structure • Ability to interface with managers and candidates at all levels • Current with social technologies, sourcing methodologies and tools • Creative thinking to continuously come up with innovative ways of identifying, connecting and engaging with candidates • Ability to prioritize the workload and deliver under tight deadlines • Self-starter mentality; results oriented; strategic thinker • Has worked with reporting, software and excel in a proficient manner
