The Department of Accounting, Information Systems Management and Supply Chain Management in the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business at Duquesne University seeks qualified applicants for a full-time instructor position to teach introductory courses, coding, analytics, and/or other ISM courses depending on knowledge and experience. With the requisite background and experience, applicants may also qualify for the title of Executive-in-Residence (EIR) in addition to Instructor. More specifically, EIR status requires significant experience as a senior executive or entrepreneur. Typically, EIRs are individuals who want to give back and shape young minds through transformative education. Indeed, the ideal candidate will have an MBA or relevant MS degree as well as significant senior leadership experience as an executive and/or as a business founder/owner.
The position involves teaching as well as developing and grading examinations and various assignments. The teaching load is up to eight three-credit courses per academic year. A somewhat lower teaching load may be possible depending on whether applicants qualify for EIR status as well as any Departmental needs for significant service activities involving program development, co-curricular opportunities and student career development/mentoring.

Please note that this is a full-time, non-tenure track teaching appointment for the 2019-2020 academic year only. That said, there is the potential for annual renewal of the position for up to two (2) additional academic years, depending on School needs and funding availability.
A Master's degree in a related field
