Our team in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for an Inside Sales engineer to join our team. The idea candidate will be able to:
• Manage quoting process from inquiry to order acceptance through our CRM system. • Support the Regional Sales Team in developing our relationships with Channel Partners across the NALA region. • Act as the day to day contact for all NALA Channels. • Provide quotations and application support. • Proactive pipeline management and chasing of opportunities. • Implement the discount approval process at quotation stage in conjunction with the Regional Sales Team. • Support the Regional Sales Team on maintenance of representative and distributor contracts. •Work with channels to gather Point of Sale data. •Work alongside Regional Sales Team / Inside Sales Manager to identify channel partner training needs and facilitate courses as required. •Provide valued support to Channel Partners by promptly replying to their needs, providing guidance and ensuring a strong drive to results. •Ensure end customers are supported by our Channel Partners to establish a collaborative and “customer-first” relationship. •Provide technical and general office assistance to AMETEK LAND business unit as/when required
Position Requirements: •Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or similar Relevant qualification in suitable discipline. •3-5 years experience in Customer Service / Sales environment. •Good problem solving skills •Communication, influencing and assertiveness. •High level of work ethics and customer satisfaction commitment. Must be passionate about meeting customer requirements. •Outstanding customer service and relationship building. •Understanding of sales and operations. •Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel. SAP/CRM knowledge desirable. •Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and ability to multitask under demanding deadlines. •A positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity are a must. •Demonstrates good judgement in analyzing information to make routine decisions. •Co-operates and collaborates with colleagues, cross functionally, to support the sales process. •Open to receiving feedback and applying/integrating the feedback in an effort to improve results. •Excellent presentation skills. •Good team player but also able to work on own initiative.
