SUMMARY This Human Resources professional will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining employee benefits programs from compensation, to FMLA, Cobra, and Disability. This includes administration of retirement, well-being, recognition and salary plans. This person will join the HR department of a well-established non-profit organization that supports the community. It has just under two hundred employees in a wide variety of roles, across multiple sites in the Pittsburgh region. This person will work in the Butler, PA head office under the HR Director. This is a full time position with a Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm work schedule.
POSITION Responsibilities include: • Administer employee benefits plans and compensation programs • Explain benefits and compensation programs to employees. Assist them in enrolling in benefits • Be the liaison with benefit providers and the go to for employees for benefit questions • Check vendor invoices for benefits, for accuracy and resolve discrepancies • Monitor the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations to senior management for revisions • Maintain the employee data in the HRIS software system which is ADP Workforce Now, and Excel spreadsheets
REQUIREMENTS • Minimum of an AS degree in Business or Human Resources. And 2 years of human resources experience • Good computer skills including HRIS experience • Strong communication and employee relations skills • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
