To manage the implementation and operation of enterprise customer facing eCommerce solutions deployed to our company. To get into the details when needed, while also providing strategic, technical, and operational expertise and guidance, bringing creativity, vision, and passion to the technology organization and its services. To ensure the integrity, availability, and security for all eCommerce systems. To work closely with digital experience, project management, QA, and and business users to understanding short and long term business goals, and defining, architecting, and executing eCommerce development plans required to fulfill the company's business and technology strategies. To understand the importance of the Customer Experience, and support that by ensuring focus on quality technical design, quality assurance testing, and high availability. To lead, build, and develop a team of eCommerce developers.
Leads teams in the development, implementation, and support of the company’s enterprise website and all digital commerce applications
Provides high-level leadership to development projects that create and continuously improve the functionality, reliability, scalability, and security of the company's eCommerce applications and systems
Drives an eCommerce software development lifecycle process and culture that ensures the appropriate balance in which quality products are produced in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Grows and scale the team by recruiting world-class technical talent as needed
Defines roles of stakeholders and manages interdependencies; identifies "at-risk" projects and resolves problems
Oversees the technical design and architectural framework for eCommerce systems
Oversees the day to day operations and administration of the eCommerce infrastructure
Directs the development and maintenance of standard operational procedures for all eCommerce related technology and infrastructure activities
Develops trusted and open relationships with key eCommerce business and IT partners at Director and VP level
Works closely with and manages strategic eCommerce vendor partner relationships
Supports the company’s digital/eCommerce strategic vision. Works with the IT senior leadership in the development of the eCommerce systems strategy in support of that vision
Conducts capacity monitoring and planning of the eCommerce environment to ensure appropriate acquisition of IT infrastructure and resources to stay well ahead of channel growth in all of its dimensions – traffic, customer acquisition, conversion, order volume, etc.
Coordinates between internal and external resources, ensuring effective communication between all groups and individuals involved in eCommerce projects
Ensures that all eCommerce associates are well versed in and follow PMO, SDLC, and other departmental procedures
Owns all interactions with internal and external auditors regarding eCommerce security, IT controls and privacy issues
Supports development and management of eCommerce expense and capital budgets and manages within those budgets
7 years digital/eCommerce
Bachelors’ Degree in business or related field required
