A software development company, located in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Manager of Content Development.
Will oversee the development of content for our cutting-edge healthcare compliance product.
Manage the content development process for the product to meet customer expectations. This includes daily oversight and/or management of all aspects of the content production process, including the sourcing of content, the analysis and creation of content by expert compliance analysts, and the quality control process.
Hiring, training, daily oversight, and evaluation of all persons or organizations involved with the development of content for the product.
Develop and enforce quality, timeliness, and productivity measures and standards to ensure consistent quality of the product content. This includes the development, maintenance, and enforcement of editorial standards, guidelines, policies, procedures, manuals, and other materials to ensure consistency in the quality and presentation of product content.
Manage changes or enhancements to the product content development process consistent with changes to, or the expansion of, the product.
Build and edit content for the product as necessary to help meet product goals.
Other duties associated with content generation as may be assigned.
BS or MS Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare regulatory compliance industry; J.D. preferred.
Experience managing and overseeing the work product of other healthcare compliance professionals in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and healthcare system operations.
Strong sense and knowledge of healthcare compliance professional job responsibilities and the information needs of those professionals.
Ability to effectively communicate regulatory requirements to a predominantly non-lawyer audience.
Ability to research and accurately analyze healthcare laws and regulations.
Must have superior writing skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Internet-based work tools.
Self-directed and able to work independently.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
