Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required; degree in business or computer science preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Visio and MS project required
Experience with a data querying tools (i.e. SQL Developer, or SQL Plus), Excel macros and Access forms (VBA Code) required
Experience in the mutual fund or financial services industry preferred
General knowledge of mutual fund business functions and managed account operations preferred
Experience managing data in an enterprise Sales Reporting and CRM system preferred
Familiar with requirements for corporate reporting, compensation reporting or prospectus monitoring preferred
Analyze, transform and map disparate data received from multiple 3rd-party (client) data sources used to create daily/weekly/monthly sales, asset and account files for import into MARS; perform the requisite data validations to ensure transformed data reconciles to the source data
Analyze, define and implement new client data file imports and other 3rd-party data sources; execute new data file onboarding activities including source file data analysis, business logic definitions, data mapping and testing documentation
Design, create and maintain processes and reports to ensure data quality; work with internal and external clients and/or third-party vendors to analyze data quality issues and recommend and implement solutions to remediate identified data quality issues
Perform daily monitoring of the MARS batch to ensure all files have been imported as expected within the stated SLO and disposition/remediate any resultant errors; create and distribute reports to internal data consumers to communicate the state of the data
Provide subject-matter expertise and guidance to internal and external clients and vendors
Perform analysis, research and propose solutions for data requests that support various stakeholders; design, create and distribute ad-hoc data and information as requested from business users
Participate in projects and execute required project activities within established client, vendor and/or internal deadlines; projects may include acquisitions/conversions, firm mergers, client-driven changes and system enhancements
Recommend process improvements, system enhancements and policy and procedure changes to increase operational efficiencies and data quality
Ensure compliance with current policies, procedures and quality standards
