Job Summary Statement
This position requires the individual to provide sales support including pipeline development, setting prospective client meetings, drafting proposals, managing tradeshows, etc. The ideal candidate must be extremely detailed, analytical, and very organized.
Duties and Responsibilities
Drive new business development through direct sales activity including market research, cold calls, warm calls, and customer presentations
Provide support for Sales Representatives including prospect calls, appointment setting, maintaining opportunity notes, etc.
Update and manage executive reports including prospect calls, deal status, pipeline status, new business projections, etc.
Work with Sales Team to develop sales and marketing materials, email campaigns, etc.
Schedule and organize all activities associated with Trade Shows including vendor and contract finalization
Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, catering, guest accommodations and department meetings for the sales team.

Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to interact and communicate with a diverse group of important customers and individuals at all levels of the organization
Work independently and within a team on special, non-recurring, and ongoing projects
Ability to have a comprehensive knowledge of customer base, vendor relationships, key contacts, and products offered
Excellent computer skills; spelling and grammar. Carefully proofreads all work.
Good phone and communication skills
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Regular attendance is essential. Ability to work additional hours as required; some occasional travel may be required
Education &/or Experience
4 year degree in Marketing or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years marketing or sales support experience needed. Experience should be progressive in duties and include hands-on project oriented responsibilities.
Prior experience in K-12 technology, sales, training, or adjacent industries.
