This role is responsible for the implementation, administration, and management of Workday. In this role, you will continually optimize the user experience and value of technology investments across the enterprise. Consult and problem solve with business leaders, provide thought leadership, and support the design, development and implementation of HR systems and analytics initiatives. You will also provide leadership in design, implementation, testing, communication, maintenance, and administration in support of the company’s human resource information systems strategy.
Develop and execute the HR Systems vision and strategy for the company.
Build out long-term roadmap for logical Workday expansion.
Enhance system functionality by admin configuration and design.
Lead the evaluation, specification, development and implementation of new functionality and redesigned modules.
Lead governance of the global technology platform, taking into account operational innovation, end user experience, reporting and analytics and overall data integrity.
Develop and maintain training, communication and change plans and actions to ensure that new processes and systems capabilities are broadly understood.
Partners to direct activities of global teams involved with supporting Workday configuration, access, security administration, compliance, integrations, reports and dashboards.
Deliver a full range of HR program support including planning and achievement tracking, using tools and resources, developing documentation and communications and driving project execution.
Anticipate, review, test and recommend newly released functionality across all installed modules.
Provide strategic support to the Human Resource function in the areas of HR metrics, reporting, dashboards and advanced predictive analytic capabilities.
Analyze existing data structures to streamline and simplify setup values in partnership with the People Analytics team.
Serve as the highest tier escalation for resolving critical errors.
Collaborate with domain experts across the HR service areas (learning and development, talent acquisition, talent management, inclusion & diversity, audit / compliance, labor relations) to promote data governance and stewardship, and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight. Monitor, report on and drive data integrity.
Develops and maintains appropriate benchmarks with other organizations.
Function as the domain expert for human resources technology.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combinations of education/experience required
5+ years of demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-functional HR technology projects, teams and programs in global environments
Advanced Workday knowledge and full-lifecycle implementation and stabilization experience.
