We are seeking an Application Analyst I to join the MSA’s Life Sciences division the help expand our mobile portfolio for the Health and Fitness communities. Your primary focus will be to design the next generation of mobile websites, apps and other mobile interfaces across multiple platforms such as iOS, Android, Windows, and mobile web. We expect you to have an evolved understanding of how people use their devices, the flexibility to adapt to new technologies, and a robust toolkit.
Under the guidance of manager or senior staff: analyzes, designs, and implements enhancements to existing mobile apps and projects
Creates/maintains design standards for both mobile applications and websites
Assists in collaborating with customers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements that drive daily use of the software through innovative design and messaging
Participates in the software development process and learns the applicability of his/her role in that process
Assists in developing materials used for client software presentations/demonstrations
Assists in designing prototypes to elicit user feedback from focus groups and utilizing feedback to enhance the product

We are currently seeking a User Experience Designer I for this exciting role. This position will work in close collaboration with senior staff, and will be exposed to all aspects of the design process, including research, design, documentation, and user testing. In addition, you will work closely with a Design Lead, Engineers, and Product Management to design and validate the user experience for web, mobile, and windows based enterprise software solutions.
Collaborate with application and product managers, developers and other stakeholders to design the user experiences for multiple applications concurrently
Participate in requirements definition activities. Assist in the process of gathering and documenting requirements.
Contribute to detailed site maps that will define the page hierarchy, navigation schema, taxonomy and nomenclature.
Develop usage scenarios and use cases, wireframes, content outlines, mockups/storyboards, functional specifications as well as paper and interactive prototypes.
Develop content and workflow maps indicating process and systems implications, navigation and content relationships.
Document usability testing sessions and assist with contextual inquiry, task analysis, and field studies.
Interact with team members at all levels to help implement designs, prove design choices, and explain design choices and rationale to both technical and non-technical personnel
Keep up-to-date with trends and best-practices in UI/UX, web and mobile design
Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration or related technical field, or equivalent experience

Ability to interact directly with clients and internal development staff of varying levels
