Sales Developer Representatives (SDRs) love to build relationships and have drive that borders on being relentless. You will start by learning the basics of sales success through a combination of classroom and hands-on training.
Early on, you will qualify leads and turn them into prospects. As you become more skilled and knowledgeable about our solutions, you may grow to handle larger enterprise sales, account management and more.
Your core responsibilities are to
Learn Innovative’s solutions and unique selling points
Conduct research using LinkedIn and other sources to identify sales leads and contact information; promptly respond to all marketing generated leads as well as those you directly sourced
Proactively contact marketing generated and directly sourced leads and then set up appointments for those that do qualify
Learn each lead's and / or prospect's needs in order to develop an appropriate approach
Make sure of a variety of methods (phone calls, emails, etc.) to successfully reach sales targets
Deliver effective and professional sales presentations
Close sales that you are assigned
Utilize sales tools regularly and effectively (Salesforce.com) to document and manage leads, activities, client pipeline, and proposals throughout the sales process
Remain current on Innovative's product offerings, messaging, and updates
Stay ahead of the latest technology trends, top of market needs, and competitive offerings
Maintain continuous communication with management regarding opportunities, challenges, industry and competitor news, and assigned initiatives
Work cooperatively with other Innovative teams
Maintain integrity and professionalism in all dealings with internal teams and prospective clients
Develop positive relationships in all interactions including with potential clients
Achieve / exceed targets and team objectives
Maintain integrity in dealing with internal teams, clients, and partners
Support Innovative’s vision, methodologies, and strategies in achieving sales quota and developing positive relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and associates
About the requirements you have
While a technical background is not necessary, having some technical acumen is helpful so that you understand and can talk easily about our products. Additionally, you are
Highly motivated self-starter with strong commitment and follow-through

Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills

It's a plus if you have...
College or university degree
Prior experience with Salesforce.com
Prior experience in technology or software sales
Working knowledge of data concepts such as data quality, data management, data integration, business Intelligence (BI), or similar technologies
Fluency with other languages
