The primary purpose of this position is to provide strategic leadership to Alcoa Warrick Operations. This position will be accountable for all aspects of the operations for the Power Plant, Smelter, Ingot, Rolling Mill and Finishing areas. It’s also responsible for EHS, HR and other supporting departments to Warrick Operations.

Be Health and Safety leader, using tools such as Human Performance and critical controls.
Overall responsibility for operational performance, establishing and achieving productivity targets that drive year-over-year improvements.
Lead, direct, coach, develop and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives in a timely and safe manner, while continuously striving to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Ensure high product quality and on-time delivery to meet / exceed customer requirements while achieving optimum production levels.
Maintain and foster positive employee relations and communications within the location.
Continuously evaluate the workforce structure to improve capabilities and responsiveness to challenges.
Responsible for driving efficiencies and optimization of operations through staffing and employee engagement at all level.
Manage sustaining and growth capital budget/projects to maximize capital efficiency and drive margin growth.
Regularly make educated business decisions for the site based on multiple data points including financial, EHS, people and the customer interest aligned with the business and operational strategy.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
Minimum 15 years of total relevant manufacturing experience. At least five years in the mining/metals industry and in a challenging and leadership position.

Experience in the Aluminum/ Rolling industry or similar is highly desirable
