SUMMARY This position is with a manufacturer of custom metal products in Saxonburg, PA. This person coordinates the project from acceptance of the order through delivery of the product. This person is the liaison for customers and internal departments. The position includes putting together quotes; analyzing costs; making sure production schedules are being met; coordinating with vendors and resolving project issues. Full time position with generous salary and benefits.
POSITION • Gather and studying proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents for products for estimating and put together quotes. • Coordinate customer RFQs with internal departments. • Drive and aid in the development of project estimates by reviewing and processing customer purchase orders and contracts. • Analyze job order cost variance reports for repeat quotes and orders. • Overall support of sales and customer service efforts as required. • Track and coordinate current projects through manufacturing and communicate with the team and the customer. • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project scope; ensure timelines, deliverables, and that quality standards are met. • Build strong alliances across all functions, act as a strategic liaison to carry out and fulfill projects within required timelines. • Ensure production schedule is coordinated with outside vendors to maintain accurate project deadlines. • Resolve project issues and ensure timely follow-up on all customer concerns.
REQUIREMENTS • A degree plus 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience required. • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
