Programmer Analyst, Advisory - Designs develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programming in systems/applications. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of systems and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of systems. Will participate on project teams developing systems & applications which will assist in ensuring customer requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. Supports existing applications including the monitoring, managing and resolution of production support cases.
Support and enhance Java legacy Enterprise applications to meet customer and business requirements.
Coordinate systems analysis, systems development and implementation activities to ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded.
Organize and prepare program and system documentation according to established procedures to facilitate ongoing support and maintenance
Recommend and implement technology and process improvements to increase efficiency
Perform formal code reviews and quality assurance activities for newly developed programs.
Participate in an off-hour support rotation.

Education and Training Required
Bachelors Degree Computer Science/Information Sciences or related field
3 to 5 years
3 to 5 years experience in application development. Experience should include technical roles on projects as well as smaller enhancements.
3 to 5 years experience in Java programming including Java Swing GUI programming / Web Programming / Web User Interface Design / XML and JSON / Object-Oriented Design (OOD) / Multimedia Content Development
Experience debugging and resolving applications issues, providing updates and performing root cause analysis.
Experience deploying version upgrades, service releases, patches or custom requests.
Experience with Toshiba POS solutions including 4690 OS, ACE, CHEC, or Store Integrator.
