Responsibilities and Duties
As a robotics perception engineer, you will work to develop, refine, and deploy perception algorithms for aerial mobility and inspection applications. Perception engineers work with algorithms that process data from sensors, including lidar and cameras, to provide useful information and situational awareness about the environment around autonomous aircraft.
Senior and junior positions are available. Candidates are highly motivated, independent thinkers that enjoy a variety of projects and work well in dynamic team environments.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Good C++ design and programming skills.
Experience developing and adapting perception algorithms for robotic systems.
Experience with lidar or camera data.
Familiarity with Linux.
Preferred Additional Skills
Masters or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience with ROS.
Experience with radar sensor data.
Software engineering practices and software development life cycle.
Code optimization for high performance.
Field testing of robotic systems.
