Great opportunity to work in the help desk field within a primary/secondary educational environment assisting students, teachers and administrative staff with technical and computer issues.
Overview of Duties
Provides ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies
Addresses help desk tickets efficiently and in a timely manner
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
Installs updates and configuration modifications to both PC’s and Mac’s
Support mobile devices, including Android and IOS
Ensures workstation operating system has the latest security updates, service packs, and manages BIOS & driver maintenance
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or 5 years of experience in IT support, customer service and personal management and OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of computer systems, networks, printers and peripherals
Good troubleshooting skills
Ability to respond service issues after hours as needed
Excellent communication skills
Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
