Position provides technical support for internal and external customers. Will be supporting Microsoft Office Suite products, hardware/software, networking equipment, Active Directory, etc. Excellent customer service skills are a must.
Experience providing level 1 and 2 technical support within an enterprise setting
Experience using trouble ticket application/process (e.g. ServiceNow or similar)
Excellent end-user communication skills important
Primary skills include Windows 7/10, Office 2012/2016 and basic Active Directory administration
Experience applying software loadset to desktop/laptop computers important
1 - 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite products including Outlook, HP Server, Laptop and Desktop hardware, Active Directory, Windows XP-10, Windows Server 2012
Experience with remote control technologies such as Microsoft Remote Desktop, HP VMS, Terminal Emulation programs, SCO Unix, Aruba wired and wireless networks.
Ability to ask meaningful questions to gain a clear understanding of technical issues and use this information to determine the most appropriate urgency and course of action.
Works with minimum supervision, proactively follows up on outstanding issues/tickets.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities and capable to handle frequent interruptions positively.
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
HDI and/or ITIL certification preferred.
