This brand new position provides a broad range of administrative support to the COO in a fast-paced, high-growth, technology startup environment. Duties include but are not limited to managing calendars, drafting communications, preparing meeting materials, note-taking (during interviews, meetings, reviews, and other), assigning operational tasks/responsibilities, and managing day to day office needs.
What You Will Do
Support the COO on managing daily workload and competing priorities.
Contribute to the efficiency of the business by providing personalized and timely support to Executive Team Members & COO's Direct Reports.
Anticipate the needs of the COO / Company and proactively handle requests, conflicts, and ongoing daily issues.
Attend meetings with COO to take notes and support in any follow-ups.
Manage COO's Calendar - including scheduling meetings; travel; and ensuring the day moves smoothly.
Perform clerical and admin tasks as needed - including email upkeep; filing documents; maining flowcharts and databases; etc.
Provide internal and external communication on behalf of the COO
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

What Gecko Is Looking For
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or other relevant administrative support experience.
Well organized individual who can act without guidance.
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Person who has a proactive approach to problem solving and strong decision making skills
Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties
Impeccable multi-tasking skills
Strong knowledge of Excel and Google Drive Apps
Experience in SalesForce preferred but not required
