Alcoa is searching for a Change Management expert to develop and lead global projects to support individuals, teams, and organizations in the adoption of key corporate changes, which include: technological evolution, new processes and policies and organizational restructuring.
You will report to the Senior Director, Global Talent Management and will be responsible for evaluating business needs and implementing change management approaches to improve adoption, minimize business disruption, and strengthen individual and organizational change. You will define and apply impacts assessments, communication and training tools to support the various groups of people during the process of change.
In this role you will:
Lead strategic Change Management initiatives across our global organization
Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert for change initiatives within the organization
Engage with functional leaders to understand their needs and develop a change management plan to support their initiatives
Develop and engage a capable internal change agents network
Assess impacted groups and ensure sponsorship and engagement
Conduct assessment of communication needs, build Communication plans and track execution
Assess training needs, build training plans track plan completion
Align the efforts of vendors, internal team members, and impacted groups
Identify and address critical issues to project success
Develop and execute Change Management processes and deliverables, such as: impact assessments, governance and sponsorship engagement strategies, communication plans, teams management, coaching plans, training plans and materials, and adoption measurement plans
Act as coach and internal change consultant to the Human Resources team
Perform ongoing review of change management strategy, methodology, tools, and measurement approach
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent work experience is required
MBA is preferred
5 years of change management experience in consulting or leading global projects. Change Mgmt experience within HR is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to influence without authority
Available for travelling up to 30% of time
Experience with large and global organizations and working with multi-functional teams is desirable
Knowledge of Human Resources and talent management practices and projects is preferred but not mandatory
