We are working with a privately held manufacturer of capital equipment to identify an experienced Sr. Sales Engineer. This company has over 90 years in business, approximately 200 employees, a history of growth and profitability, and very low turnover. They service the packaging industry and are a front runner in their industry due to cutting edge technology which includes infrared light absorption, sonic, capacitive sensing and vision-based technology.
The Sr. Sales Engineer will report to the COO and be responsible for selling capital equipment within a US territory. Travel requirements are approximately 120 - 140 days a year.
This is a direct hire opportunity offering a generous base salary plus commission and a full benefits package.
REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. • 10 years of successful experience selling capital equipment preferred, at least 5 years of experience required. • Sales management experience preferred. • Experience selling measurement equipment and or laboratory instruments to the PET or glass container industries highly preferred. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
