Job Overview: This position is responsible for providing advanced health monitoring, troubleshooting, and system maintenance for the Distributed Services servers and systems. The Distributed Services department is responsible for over 600 servers, both physical and virtual, over 100 Microsoft SQL Databases, over 150 business applications and over 70 branches throughout the Eastern United States. The understanding of infrastructure design and adaptability to new technologies is necessary.
Principle Activities and Duties:
Perform detailed system design, configuration, implementation, documentation and support.
Assisting in Virtual Desktop Implementation • Leading Active Directory Redesign • Leading automaton of processes via scripting • O365\Exchange Implementation • Participate in server build, maintenance, and turndown process.
Assist Infrastructure Architect with the implementation of emerging technologies and systems. • Participate in disaster recovery testing. • High interactions with other team members and business unit personnel.
Provide Level 3 technical support and assist with Level 1.
Monitor the operating system environment, troubleshoot and maintain system integrity.
Provide advanced troubleshooting of server, operating system and application related issues.
Prioritize IT request and issues from conception through implementation.
Familiarize, gain experience, and comply with change control procedures.

Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field is required. Will accept professional experience in lieu of education.
