Opening with our client for an Information Security Engineer.
Looking for someone with 5 more years of information security as well as vulnerability management experience.
Overview of Responsibilities
Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
Identify and define system security requirements
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field required
5+ years of information security experience
Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
CISSP, CCNA or CCNP certifications a plus'
CIS-CAT audit experience
Experience working with vulnerability assessment tools and knowledge of emerging technologies
Experience with SIEM management tools.
Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
Ability to respond to critical security incidents 24x7.
Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Child Abuse Clearance; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check; Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance, Act 168, and Act 126 required Expert knowledge about data encryption methodologies and technologies.
