THE OPPORTUNITY: Right now we are working with a Pittsburgh based Event Coordinator to identify a Customer Service Ninja to be a valued part of their growing team. You’ll be the first point of contact for all incoming phone calls and walk in traffic and you’ll work with clients to understand their needs, supply event and rental quotations, and offer creative solutions. In this role you’ll get to do some really cool stuff like: • Be the first point of contact answering phones and directing calls. • Evaluate client needs and begin gathering information or direct to a consultant. • Provide timely and accurate quotes and proposals. • Provide product recommendations. • Maintain super awesome relationships with client and address needs and issues fast. • Cover your teammates during lunch. • Site visits as necessary to learn about the venue. • Go to events/jobs booked and sold (as needed). • Attend weekly production and scheduled sales meetings. • Assist production consultants as needed. • Work with project managers and technicians to ensure client needs are met. • Send ‘Thank You’ cards to clients. • Help make the office look great. • Other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity offering a competitive compensation package and a work schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
YOU: If you: • Are a great team player and like making individual contribution to a project. • Have flexibility to be available by cell, text, etc… • Have solid organizational skills and attention to detail. • Love solving problems and tight deadlines. • Work well with numbers (you’ll be developing estimates and quotes). • Have solid computer skills (Microsoft Office). • Are jazzed by working with a variety of customers. • Have super awesome communication skills (verbal and written). • Have a creative flair. • Have experience in event planning and/or rental/production (that would be incredibly helpful). • Ever worked with lighting, rigging, audio/video or staging (this would be super awesome). • Have a valid driver’s license and can pass a criminal background check/drug screen.
