SUMMARY We are currently working with a high-tech manufacturer in Warrendale, PA, to identify a Sales Operations Administrator, to cover a maternity leave. This position will last for approximately three months starting in March - April 2020. The person in the role will provide training prior to her leaving.
This is a full-time position with a Monday - Friday daylight work schedule. Pay rate around $20.00 an hour.
POSITION The Sales Operations Administrator will provide support to the sales and service teams, including the technicians in the field, in North and South America. This person is the liaison between production and shipping with the sales and field teams. Duties include: • Order entry • Communicate installation issues from the service techs to the sales team • Ensure that client receives correct licensing for the software for their product • Follow the order through the ERP software system and communicate changes to ship dates between production and the sales teams • Get approval from finance for payment terms • Send quotes from the engineering to the customer • Follow up with customers on the process for purchasing or returning consignment items • Produce reports for management, for example upcoming orders • Assist teams within the company with any questions regarding order information
REQUIREMENTS • Experience in a similar role in sales support • Experience entering orders into a customer records management (CRM) system like Salesforce • Good Word and Excel; data entry and Outlook skills • Able to take on a temporary position • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
