Orrick currently has an opening for an HRIS Coordinator in our Global Operations & Innovation Center (GOIC) in Wheeling, WV.
Our GOIC in Wheeling, West Virginia, is home to more than 300 members. Established more than a decade ago, it was the first centralized administrative operation in a major law firm. Our GOIC location is within commuting distance of the greater Pittsburgh area and Ohio Valley, including: Pittsburgh, Carnegie, Moon, Robinson, Cranberry, Green Tree, Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Southpointe, Bridgeville, McKees Rocks, Upper St. Clair, McMurray, Canonsburg and Washington; St. Clairsville, New Martinsville, Cambridge and the Weirton-Steubenville metro area.
As an HRIS Coordinator, you will provide support for HRIS (PeopleSoft, UltiPro & Service Now) data entry, and monitoring and responding to requests for the team (HRIS Mailbox):
Monitor the HRIS Team mailbox - categorizing requests, respond or escalate to senior HRIS resources, and track completion.
Receive Employee Action Notices, Employee Separation Notices and other transaction documents. Review the inbound documents for accuracy and completeness. Under the guidance of senior HRIS resources, contact people originating the forms to correct data and add missing information.
Maintain employee data in the PeopleSoft HRIS and UltiPro Payroll database.
Maintain HR Workforce Administration Cases in Service Now database.
Copy and distribute forms and supporting documents to HR, Payroll, and Benefits Departments.
Run and reference reports to validate the accuracy of data.
Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
One to two years demonstrated experience in a HR department of a professional services organization preferred.
Working knowledge of HR business procedures and information requirements required.
Experience with MS Office Suite (i.e. Excel and Word) and MS Outlook required.
Familiarity with database management systems a plus.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, UltiPro or similar HRIS systems preferred.
Capable of both good team work and independent problem solving. Must be self-sufficient when needed.
Able to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion.
Excellent customer focus, along with strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Must have strong attention to detail and be highly accurate.
Ability to multi-task and organize information required.
