As Product Manager, you will help to develop ideas and specific requirements for CRM, sales intelligence, and analytics for digital, broadcast television, and OTT workflows based on personal experience and contact with customers, prospects, and integration partners. The ideal candidate can balance business and technical savvy with a big-picture perspective, and the initiative to transform that vision into reality. This role will work closely with developers to define and document product requirements, manage clarifications, and perform final acceptance testing.
The Product Manager must enjoy spending time in the market to understand the challenges and find innovative solutions for the broader marketplace, as well as working with the sales channel and key customers. In addition to design and strategy, the person in this position will also play an essential role in the knowledge transfer process and education for our internal and external customers
What will get you through the front door?
3+ years of software product management experience for digital or media
BS/MS or equivalent industry-specific experience
Professional experience with modern software delivery practices, processes, and tools
Product or design experience in the media sales space for multiple platforms (digital, broadcast/cable, OTT, and CTV)
User/superuser experience on CRM and media industry software a plus
Experience developing requirement documents, user stories, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user interaction diagrams
Reasonable technical insight and an ability to translate functional requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts and vice versa
Experience working with standards-based integrations including TIP initiative, ProjectOAR, IAB or others
Some travel to customer and non-customer sites required
Eligible to work in the US, Pittsburgh-based is highly desirable
Experience in UX, particularly in web-based application design
Preference for experience from within a media or technology company
Experience with programmatic and first-party ads implementation
Familiarity with the industry ecosystem of ad-networks, ad-managers, SSPs, DSP’s, etc.
Experience with widely used ad platforms like Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, etc.
Participation in creating new generations of video-based consumer products
Understanding of revenue and monetization models related to media business models
