Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent financial services experience required, Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Technology, and Mathematics preferred.
Minimum 3 years financial services experience required.

Experience working in a data management organization. Familiarity with data management concepts, workflow design, operating model curation, data management applications/platforms and middle office lifecycle.

Technical skills including VBA/SQL experience is required
Familiarity with asset management, asset servicing requirements and/or business processing
Understanding of Data Governance concepts. Experience in supporting data with a governance framework in place. Playing the role of a Data Steward is preferred.
This IMO Data Specialist acts as the business support line to the data management operations team in their use of data management applications. The position possesses an expert level understanding of the data under administration, the operational procedures and workflows utilized by the data management teams, and a solid understanding of the data management applications utilized by the operations team. The IMO Data Specialist plays key roles in project execution including providing business requirements and business direction, testing, configuration management, business rule definition, new operational workflow and process construction, and end-user training. The position also plays a key role in ensuring the data leveraged by enterprise users is in a “gold standard” state and ready for consumption.
Play a central role in aligning the needs of business units with the capabilities delivered by information technology, and may serve as a "translator" between those groups. Ensure that data within the Master Data Management system is aligned with the correct data sources (both internal and external). Build data within system and create business rules for data mastering oversight and construction.
Work with various business groups to determine business requirements and support model needs of data mastering and data delivery needs.
Collect, evaluate and compress data and information from multiple sources, resolve conflicts and differentiate between actual and required user needs.
Deliver results after thorough research of functional needs by collaborating and communication between various users.
Assist in the review, development and implementation of new procedures and/or processes resulting from reengineering, new initiatives, increased quality control or as mandated by corporate policy.
Ensure scheduled work, tasks and deadlines are completed and verified by agreed deadlines, checklists are signed, reviewed and required back up and documentation is filed.
Provide long-term support over the gold-copy data solutions constructed. Continue to be an internal advocate and a subject matter expert in support of the data solutions including working closely with Data Management teams to include new functions, workflows and training materials.
Engage in business process re-engineering activities continually evaluating and evolving business processing, workflow management, future / evolving business requirements, and data validation activities in support of long-term corporate and operational strategies.
Ability to work shifts (team provides business coverage from 7AM to 8PM. Overtime as required)
