The Expedient Sales Operations and Enablement team has an opening for a Sales Learning and Development Specialist. This role is critical to the organization as it promotes the development of our most important asset, our talent. This role reports to the Director, Sales Learning and Development and collaborates with sales professionals and leaders, with Subject Matter Experts and with other stakeholders on training and performance initiatives that support our corporate strategy, drive performance and behavior change, and enable our sales professionals to perform at the highest levels within their job roles.
The successful candidate is a confident and articulate learning professional; experienced at designing and developing adult learning content, embracing new learning technology and innovative delivery methods. This position requires an excellent communicator with experience as a facilitator and trainer, able to lead workshops with all levels of associates in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
Design, develop, and deliver learning (virtual and live) in sales professional development, including product and customer-facing/soft skills, sales leadership development, sales tools, methodologies and processes, as well as new hire onboarding programs
Challenge existing models and processes to design innovative learning that can be used just-in-time and provide on-the-job performance support
Consult with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand needs and develop appropriate learning deliverables to develop identified skills and knowledge
Build and cultivate relationships with Expedient leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
Be adaptable to change, self-motivated, and able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
3-5 years of adult learning instructional design experience
BS or BA degree in instructional design, communications, or other related discipline
Experience with content authoring, video editing tools and Leaning Management Systems
Experience with MS Office Suite and Office 365 applications
Strong time management, communication and writing skills
Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities
Learn quickly, working independently and as part of a team, while engaging multiple audiences to complete tasks
Knowledge of enterprise, hyperconverged cloud environments
Sales, sales enablement or consulting experience
Familiarity with The Challenger Sale and Challenger Customer methodologies
Familiarity with Brainshark Sales Readiness platform
