Some of the "must haves" are as follows: - Demonstrated progressive engineering experience in software/systems development
- Expert level C++ programming skills
- 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Experience building enterprise class, multi-process, fault tolerant, load balanced, and multi-tiered systems
- Expertise with Object Oriented Programming
- Knowledge and understanding of developing software in a Linux environment
- Awareness of continuous integration, static code analysis, branching and versioning, and DevOps
- A strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent oral, written, and listening skills to effectively communicate on technical topics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science
Desired Qualifications: - Knowledge of control systems or embedded systems
- Background in Agile methodology or Agile processes
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Electron, Motif, Qt
- SQL database data modeling and interaction
