SUMMARY We are currently working with a small financial services organization in Cranberry Township to identify a Mortgage Consumer Loan Processor. This organization is highly customer service driven, vs. larger banks that are more sales driven. As a result, they have won numerous local awards for being the best in customer service. This will be a remote working opportunity and all required training will occur via Zoom. Schedule of the position is Monday – Friday daylight hours, typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Due to being remote, there is some flexibility with this schedule for those that may need it.
POSITION The Mortgage Consumer Loan Processor promotes and provides excellent customer service by effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal and external customers by processing and maintaining consumer and mortgage loan files.
Essential Duties and Competencies: • Proficient knowledge in the complete cycle of mortgage and consumer loan applications, processing and closing. • Process mortgage and consumer applications proficiently prior to and following the closings. • Competent in processing consumer loan processing including: Prepare initial file for consumer loans; Maintain consumer processing follow up chart; Create closing documents. • Create and mail declines, withdrawals, notice of incompleteness and counteroffers for both mortgage and consume file. • General understanding of lending regulations. • Prepare approved loans for loan closing, including completing worksheet, calculating, and verifying payoffs, and creating loan documents. • Perform additional department duties and assist with projects including, but not limited to homeowner’s insurance tracking, payoff letters, closing paid off loans and customer inquiries.
BASE REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma or GED. • 2+ years related experience. • Understanding of mortgage and consumer loan regulations, specifically RESPA, Regulation Z, Regulation B, and HMDA. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and use of industry specific programs. • Must be able to pass a background and credit check.
