An established automation company, based north of Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Parts & Service Supervisor.
Develop, communicate, enforce and monitor effective Parts & Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
Delegate and organize work for about 5 employees (2 Parts, 2 Service Coordinators and 1 Shipper/Receiver)
Enter and process sales orders.
Accountable and supervisory function for inventory management.
Will be required to maintain stock levels of consumables/products by providing purchase requisitions/returns to Purchasing and/or Vendors.
Coordinate shipping instructions.
Utilize resources for continuous departmental advancement/improvements and track performance of the team.
Maintain and enforce safety guidelines; keep documents updated.
AS or BS Degree in a Technical Field and a minimum of 3-5 years of related supervisory experience within a fast paced, electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
Willingness to train and lead colleagues
Robotics/automation background a plus
Understand bills of material with electrical, pneumatic and mechanical components
Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical engineered drawings/schematics
Must be proficient with Excel and Word, along with an understanding of ERP software, preferably MS Dynamics
Must have good communication and customer service skills
Must have good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Must be detail-oriented and have good problem-solving skills
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience
