Pyramid Consulting Group has a Pittsburgh client with an immediate need for an experienced WORKDAY BUSINESS SYSTEM ANALYST. Responsibilities - Provide technical and analytical expertise within the HR Technologies area with a particular focus on the roll out of Workday to new acquisitions and loading data from legacy systems into Workday
- Provide training of the data migration processes and tools to other team members when applicable
- Documentation, analysis and data profiling of legacy solutions to be mapped and migrated to Workday
- Ensue all work activities associated with the cleansing, enrichment, extract, transform and load of data from legacy systems into Workday is audited and signed off
- Work with project leadership to ensure Data migration objectives are being met and risks managed
- Ensure data standards and Master Data Management (MDM) governance is adhered to
- Collaborate with staff members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present viable solution options while under the leadership and supervision of a project manager
- Develop knowledge of specific business processes used within the HR Technologies area
Technical Skills - Direct hands-on experience in Workday process design, configuration and implementation especially with Workday data uploads and transformation using the EIB process.
- Develop new, or modify existing, reports and integrations from Workday to internal and external systems using Workday technologies including calculated fields, custom reports, EIBs, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, Web Services, PICOF’s, etc.
- Building integrations between different departments of an organization (HR, payroll, or other HR / Business systems)
- Create and maintain Custom Integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Workday Studio.
- Create and maintain Cloud Connect Integrations.
- Work with vendors for debugging issues with integrations and mapping the requirements.
- Good understanding of the Workday Data Model.
Requirements - A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training
- Minimum of 3-year experience in systems analysis, design, development, and implementation
- An understanding of basic concepts, terminology and practical application of current and emerging technologies.
- 3+ year’s professional experience using Workday HR technologies.
- At least 2 years’ experience with Workday Integrations (i.e., PICOF, PECI, etc)
- Strong analytical abilities and technical skills to evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions
- Good understanding of architectures, analytical and design techniques, database technologies, and programming languages including Business Intelligence
- Ability to design applications using the appropriate systems architecture, database structures, and communication and network technologies
- Analytical abilities and technical skills to isolate problems, fix immediate needs, analyze all ramifications and implement complete solutions
- Familiarity with project management techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in audience appropriate terms
