ORGANIZATION This position is with the HR department of a government office in Butler. This person will help support the HR Director by managing employee records.
DUTIES • Supporting the HR department with administrative work • Processing new hire and employee paperwork • Tracking work hours and payroll related data in Excel spreadsheets • Tracking workers compensation and FMLA • Filing, copying, faxing and general office work
Work hours are Monday - Friday. 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Pay rate depending on skills and experience. Long-term position expected to be ongoing. May become permanent for the right person.
REQUIREMENTS • We are looking for someone who has done administrative work in an HR department • Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills • Ability to work with documents and data • Good organizational skills and attention to detail • Team and people oriented • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check
