Qintel is looking for a software engineer to join our growing software development team. Working on both internal and client facing applications, you will be building tools to help fight the ever-growing problem of cyber-crime and helping to make a difference in the world!
What you'll do:
Work closely with clients and our internal staff to analyze problems and come up with creative solutions in our customer facing web APIs.
Work to extend feature sets in current applications, assisting in the design and development of new applications.
Be able to clearly and effectively document areas of primary responsibility.

What you'll need:
2+ years of software engineering experience using Python
2+ years’ experience building RESTful (or similar) APIs
2+ years’ experience on Unix related systems (debian, etc.)
Experience with MySQL, Postgres, ElasticSearch, or other related datastores
Excellent interpersonal skills and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
A passion to learn and thrive in a dynamic, constantly changing environment and building great customer experiences
Must take initiative and is a go getter!
Nice to haves:
Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in software engineering related field
Familiarity with containers and container orchestration platforms
Familiarity with OpenAPI, JSON and building client-side software development kits
Familiarity with Single Page Applications
Familiarity with Pyramid, Flask or Django
Familiarity with Serverless Frameworks (eg: AWS Lambda)
AWS, Azure, or other cloud related experience.
