Overall Purpose:

This position is responsible for application development of new applications to support the Telecommunications Network Operations, IP Services, and Sales Support teams.  Ideal candidates will have 6 years of full stack software development experience.

Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and feature additions of all internally developed application platforms using programming languages such as Java, C sharp, Python, and/or other similar programming languages.

Job Responsibilities:             

• Responsible for participation and lead on one or more project teams, application development, integration, and modification activities, as well as related maintenance and support.
• Working with the project team to define and design project scope.
• Developing and integrating applications per written specifications.
• Translating business and technical requirements into application modules.
• Individual will be responsible for time management
• Experience with REST, SOAP, and CORBA integration technologies a plus
• Event driven architecture          
• Creating or aiding in the preparation and presentation of status updates for projects.
• Making modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with written specifications and industry standards.

• Developing software application modules using disciplined software development processes.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Roles at this level are often filled by university / college graduates with professional experience of 5 to 6 years.
