The Operations Manager position is open due to an upcoming retirement of an employee with 45 years with the company.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, in summary the Operations Manager will manage and oversee the operations of the company, to include managing warehouse staff, directing operations staff, scheduling daily crews and their daily activities, have oversight of company safety and compliance programs, maintain staffing levels through recruiting / interviewing / training, oversee facilities management and warehouse operations, help to execute short and long term company goals, and identify strategies for continuous improvement. This is a hands-on Operations Manager role, and this individual will be actively working within the operation and with the crews. 

POSITION
Responsibilities to include: 
•    Planning/Executing objectives as determined by executive group. 
•    Identifying and implementing cost improvement controls and improvement of operations efficiencies. 
•    Assisting senior management in obtaining financial goals and performance results.  
•    Recruiting/Hiring/Training staff in proper methods, standards, and expectations of company.  
•    Instilling quality standards in all areas of operation.  
•    Managing/Overseeing employee safety program through meetings, training, and maintenance of compliance requirements of company, local, state, and federal agencies. 
•    Coordinating warehouse floor organization and facility cleanliness with staff.  
•    Recommending and implementing strategic changes in warehouse operations.  
•    Maintaining required DOT fleet and crew records and reporting. 
•    Providing direction, development and leadership to supervisors and employees.  
•    Monitoring and seeking improvements in internal and external customer service as provided by operations group.  
•    Preparing/Maintaining documents and providing reports and documents as assigned or needed as management tools.  
•    Performing other duties as assigned by senior management.
