Provide technical leadership to a growing team of engineers and collaborate closely with product lead, UX design lead and technical lead to create the best possible solutions for customers…Pyramid Consulting Group has a client with an immediate need for an experienced SR SOFTWARE ENGINEER who can write robust, unit-tested code in Go,Python, and/or JavaScript, lead and iterate on scrum rituals and other SDLC processes, help with many aspects of product research and development and have a major impact on how products are built and coach junior team members to grow and excel.

The client is looking for the following skills and background:

* Bachelor's in CS, CE, ECE, IT or equivalent experience in technical field
* At least 8+ years of experience as a software engineer or relevant work experience
* Experience with Agile methodologies

* Strong understanding of software engineering patterns and principles

* SOA Background
* Full Stack Developer but mostly backend
* GO and/Python in  a production setting
* JavaScript
* Postgres is plus but will accept strong/new SQL on the backend
* Kubernetes
* Docker or some type of container experience

* At least 5+ years experience writing production-ready code
* At least 2+ years working knowledge of microservices architectures
* Strong knowledge in programming structures, algorithms, and multithreading and parallelization concepts
* At least 3+ years experience using Docker
* At least 2+ years experience with Kubernetes ecosystem
* Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka
* Experience with many databases solutions like MongoDB, Postgres, Cassandra
