SUMMARY We are currently working with a privately held manufacturer located in Butler County to identify an experienced Inside Sales Representative. The company offers an engineered custom product line and recently celebrated 30 years in business. Their technical product line serves multiple industries, some of their primary markets including Medical, Industrial Controls, Automotive/Marine, Performance Sportswear, Military/Defense, and Safety/Fire Service. They had a record year in 2020 and are positioned to double in size over the next ten years. Due to growth, this position is an addition to their team. The sales group is highly team-oriented bunch who support each other and work cohesively towards common goals. Successful individuals in this group are driven, hungry, care more about the “we” than the “I”, and enjoy working for a business where their input is not only requested but valued. Reporting to the Director of Sales, in summary the Inside Sales Representative will contribute to new business growth in a role that offers a variety of activities including strategic planning, new business development, account management, and project management. The successful person in this role will be driven to grow the business, create sales opportunities, exceed goals, while building and maintaining strong customer relationships with clients and the internal team. POSITION As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be expected to employ creative sales and direct marketing efforts, vs. the traditional cold calling only method of sales. Essential duties will include: • Working collaboratively within a team environment to reach company revenue goals. • Developing/Executing sales strategies. • Prospecting/Developing new client relationships through creative sales and direct marketing efforts. • Building/Maintaining a consistent sales funnel and pipeline. • Creating/Delivering sales presentations to diverse levels of partner contacts. • Actively participating in local/regional networks to develop new relationships, strengthen existing client relationships, and grow the Company brand. • Maintaining a strong understanding of Company products and services. • Reporting complete and updated client interactions in the Company’s CRM system. • Demonstrate the ability to meet aggressive deadlines. • Travel for client visits, trade shows, and networking events (travel requirements not significant; most travel will be local to Pittsburgh/surrounding areas, with only some travel out of state). |
