This position is responsible to develop, coordinate, and implement digital marketing strategies to drive digital adoption, customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand reinforcement across the company. This is a hands-on role that acts as our client's digital marketing thought leader, and will employ current Digital Marketing best practice, but also have a strong understanding of fortune 500 B2B distribution environments. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work with the VP of ecommerce, and other VP and Director level leaders across the enterprise to develop and implement a Digital Marketing Strategy.
- Work with the VP ecommerce, and other VP and Director level leaders across the enterprise to implement the Digital Marketing portion of the eCommerce strategic roadmap.
- Identify and implement a marketing automation tool.
- Develop and implement an email strategy and program including list/growth management, customer segmentation, best practices, tools, and execution of all eMail programs.
- Develops a social media strategy, implements tools and processes, and directs/manages social media programs on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blog, etc. in coordination with Corporate Communications and Marketing.
- Develop and execute digital marketing initiatives to increase adoption and usage of all electronic commerce channels including the websites, mobile, punch-out, EDI, and scan guns.
- Develop and implement a digital content strategy for our portfolio of websites and social media properties authoring original content, as well as sourcing content from vendors and other sources. Content should span the range of non-product description web content including video, whitepapers, articles, online promotions.
- Develop and implement enterprise wide online customer acquisition strategy and programs leveraging best practice inbound marketing, SEO, SEM, social, etc.
- Develop and implement enterprise wide revenue generation strategy and programs leveraging best practice digital marketing.
- Ensures effective control of digital marketing results, and takes corrective action to ensure that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
- Develops, with Leadership, digital marketing policy and ensures it is enforced enterprise wide.
- Grows digital customer self-service from existing B2B customers, vendors, employees, thereby reducing costs to the overall business.
- Acquires and retains customers and maximizes their annual value.
- Maximizes margin.
- Leverages and collaborates with resources in Marketing department.
