SUMMARY We are currently working with a privately held manufacturer with over 50 years in business to identify a Bookkeeper / Office Manager. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering a Monday – Friday schedule of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and a competitive compensation package including a wage commensurate with experience, full insurance, retirement, and paid time off benefits, as well as a friendly and casual work environment.
In summary, the Bookkeeper / Office Manager will report to the Owner and primarily focus on accounting duties. However, this is a small company where you will be required to be self-directed and wear other hats to pitch in where needed.
POSITION • Accounts Receivable. • Oversight of Accounts Payable. • Produce monthly trial balances. • Monthly reconciliation of bank statements and process bank deposits weekly. • Produce weekly cash flow reports. • Work with CFO on month end close. • Enter project related information into an ERP system, such as labor, material and sub-contract costs and ensure finished projects are invoiced and closed out for month end. • Oversee the administrative processes for all employee benefits. • Work with a third-party administrator for processing biweekly payroll; generate quarterly wage tax and W2s. • Other office management tasks such as maintaining petty cash and office supplies, handling employment documentation, maintaining employment files, etc. • Other office support duties.
BASE REQUIREMENTS • 5+ years of accounting / bookkeeping experience in a manufacturing environment. • Experience with an MRP or ERP system; experience with Epicor is ideal. • Strong Word/Excel skills. • Highly organized / detail oriented individual with strong follow through skills. • Enjoys working with a team as well as independently. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and credit check.
