At Carnegie Mellon University – one of the places where artificial intelligence was invented – we’ve had a front row seat for the development of AI technologies that have changed how we live. From self-driving cards and smart home devices to robots and electronic assistants like Alexa and Siri, we’ve had a hand in all of it. And we know this is only the tip of the iceberg. To continue this momentum, we have developed the JPMorgan Chase AI Maker Space. The brand new 1,900 square foot facility will house state-of-the-art hardware, such as robots, drones, smart appliances, and AR/VR, plus associated software packages and massive datasets, which will be available to students for course projects, competitions, and independent research. To ensure the JPMorgan Chase AI Maker Space can operate at its full potential, the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a full-time Lab Manager. The Lab Manager will be the backbone of the space through overseeing the cutting-edge technology and ensuring students can make the most of their time in the facility.
