SUMMARY We are looking for people to take incoming calls to Butler Health Systems. The Customer Care Representative acts as the first point of contact for patients to meet their needs for information, support, and assistance by phone. Training will be provided, in an office in Butler, PA (no patients on site). Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. $15.00 an hour. This project is expected to last around 6 months. And the best people may have the opportunity to be hired.
POSITION Responsibilities include: • Scheduling office appointments utilizing exceptional customer service skills to gain an understanding of the patient’s needs • Obtaining accurate demographic information and verifying insurance information • Data reporting • Obtaining referrals and authorizations from insurance providers • Entering information into healthcare records
REQUIREMENTS • At least a year of office experience • Good phone and customer service skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks • Proficient computer skills with ability to navigate efficiently in Windows and enter data accurately • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
