Compunetics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to participate in the setup and operation of manufacturing equipment in a hands-on PCB manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Engineer will spend half of the time in the production area.
Participate in setting up and operating manufacturing equipment
Evaluate existing work instructions and procedures to improve product quality
Streamline operations and reduce costs
Gather and review manufacturing data and metrics
Perform tasks in support of Engineering and Quality Team
BS in Chemistry or Quality Engineering. A BS in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred
Exposure to a manufacturing environment a plus; internships or temporary considered
Involvement or responsibility for process control is preferred
Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail and complete basic production engineering takes
Good problem solving skills, analytical review of failures and teamwork skills
Basic Computer skills required
Familiarity with SPC techniques and software preferred
