SUMMARY Healthcare network seeks Administrative and Billing Coordinator for the Verona office in Pittsburgh, PA. There are no patients in the office. This job will have core responsibilities, and then will help as needed in other areas.
POSITION Core responsibilities include: • The focus will be on insurance verification, and authorization. • Maintaining and updating patient and billing information in the electronic system. • Checking and sending the billing to an outside vendor. • Assisting the Director with payroll – that is receiving, entering, and checking timecards and following up on missing information. • Back up to ordering of supplies for the office.
Weekly work schedule of Monday - Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. $17.00 - $19.00 an hour to start, with increases in the future based on performance and benefits.
REQUIREMENTS • Professional administrative experience. • Experience working with medical records, medical terminology and/or insurances, is preferred but not required. • Data entry, scanning, and good software skills. • Accuracy and organizational skills. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
